COVID-19 pandemic and bank business management

This data set consists of Nigerian banks' specific variables panel data collected from the annual report and financial statements of 12 deposit money banks. The variables include Earnings per share, Profit After Tax, Total Assets, Loan and Advances, Customer's Deposits', Market Share. It also includes Staff Costs, Return on Assets, Loan to Deposits Ratios, Interbank Call Rates, Monetary Policy Rates, Exchange Rates and their corresponding natural logarithm values. It also includes dummy variable data on the covid-19 periods and non-covid-19 periods captured with binary values of 1 for covid-19 periods and 0 for before or non-covid-19 periods within the data. The data spans from March 2018 to March 2021.
