Hoki Seasonal Spawning Areas

This layer shows the Hoki Seasonal Spawn Areas (HSSA). This featureclass also contains areas representing the voluntary commercial closure of Hoki Seasonal Spawning Areas(HSSA). These areas were agreed upon by HOK1 quota owners in the 2018/2019 Deepwater Group Operational Procedures 18.0. There are four HSSAs present in this feature class: *Cook Strait *West Coast Outside the 25 nm Line *West Coast Inside the 25 nm Line *Pegasus To allow for a period of undisturbed spawning, no trawler, regardless of size, shall target hoki within the four designated areas (co-ordinates and maps in Part 5) during the time periods, as set out below: • West Coast inside the 25 nm closure: between 0000 hrs 18 July and 2400 hrs 24 July (noting trawlers >46 m LOA (Length OverAll)are already prohibited from fishing within this area by regulation) • West Coast outside of the 25 nm closure, shallower than 800 m, between Kahurangi Point in the north and the boundary between FMAs 5 and 7 in the south: between 0000 hrs 25 July and 2400 hrs 31 July • Cook Strait: Entire fishery between 0000 hrs 1 August and 2400 hrs 7 August (noting trawlers >46 m LOA are already prohibited from fishing within this area by regulation) • Pegasus: Within the designated areas between 0000 hrs 1 September and 2400 hrs 7 September本图层展示新西兰长尾鳕（Hoki）季节性产卵场（Hoki Seasonal Spawn Areas，以下简称HSSA）。 该要素类同时涵盖自愿性商业禁渔的Hoki季节性产卵场区域，此类区域由HOK1配额持有者在《2018/2019年度深水作业组操作规程18.0》中协商一致确定。 本要素类中共包含4处HSSA，分别为： *库克海峡（Cook Strait） *25海里（nautical mile，简称nm）界限外侧西海岸海域 *25海里界限内侧西海岸海域 *佩加索斯（Pegasus）海域 为保障产卵活动不受干扰，任何尺寸的拖网渔船均不得在如下规定时段内，于4处指定区域（坐标及地图详见第5部分）以新西兰长尾鳕为捕捞目标，具体时段如下： * 25海里界限内侧西海岸禁渔区：7月18日00:00至7月24日24:00（注：根据现行法规，总长（Length OverAll，以下简称LOA）超过46米的拖网渔船已被禁止在此区域作业） * 25海里界限外侧西海岸禁渔区（水深小于800米，北至卡胡朗吉角，南至5号与7号渔业管理区（Fisheries Management Areas，简称FMAs）界）：7月25日00:00至7月31日24:00 * 库克海峡全渔场：8月1日00:00至8月7日24:00（注：根据现行法规，总长超过46米的拖网渔船已被禁止在此区域作业） * 佩加索斯指定海域：9月1日00:00至9月7日24:00
