sc-RNAseq of retinal neurons from MFSD2A knockout and WT littermate mice

The goal of this study is to compare the expression of genes in the retinal neurons of a mouse lacking Mfsd2a protein and WT littermate. The libraries were prepared and sequenced as follows. Single-cell RNA-Seq libraries were prepared using 10X Chromium Single-Cell 3' Gel Bead and Library Kit v2 (cat#120237) from methanol fixed retinal cells isolated from 62 days old Mfsd2a KO and WT littermate mice. The barcoded sequencing libraries were quantified by quantitative PCR (cat#KK4824, KAPA Biosystems Library Quantification Kit for Illumina platforms). The libraries were pooled in equal proportions and run on a NextSeq 500 (cat# SY-415-1002, Illumina) in High Output mode using a full 75bp paired-end flow cell in single index mode with custom cycles set to 26x8x98.
