Change in price for residential properties for sale in Italy H1 2019, by region

During the first quarter of 2019, prices for residential properties decreased almost in all regions in Italy. In fact, Tuscany represented the only exception: in the region the average price for residential real estate increased by 1.2 percentage points compared to the same period of 2018. The rest of the country experienced decreasing real estate prices. The worst performer was Sardinia: in the first half of 2019, houses in the Island lost approximately 15 percent of their value compared to the previous year.
