A Drosophila protein, Stand still (Stil), functions as a insulator or transcription factor to maintain germline stem cells. In order to study Stil's binding sites on chromosomes, Cut&Run analysis was performed in Dosophila ovary by using anti-Stil antibody for wild-type flies or anti-Myc antibody for the flies expressing Myc-tagged Stil protein.
