Global Circular Economy Legislations

The Circular Economy transition is reliable for accomplishing climate and economic goals. Our current linear economy system depends on extracting natural resources rather than reusing and recycling, which generates huge carbon gas and causes biodiversity loss. The 20th century’s concept of using natural resources as an “extract and earn” philosophy has changed to “circular and sustainable” use. A uniform global legislative system must be formed to legalize the development and promotion of a CE. This study will discuss global CE principles that play roles in addressing sustainability challenges and economic development through policy-setting changes and legal transitions.

循环经济转型是实现气候与经济目标的可靠途径。我们现行的线性经济体系依赖于对自然资源的提取而非再利用和回收，这导致了巨大的碳排放和生物多样性的丧失。20世纪将自然资源视为‘提取与盈利’的哲学观念已转变为‘循环与可持续’的利用方式。必须建立统一的全球立法体系，以合法化循环经济（CE）的发展和推广。本研究将探讨全球循环经济原则，这些原则通过政策制定和法律过渡的变化，在应对可持续性挑战和经济发展的过程中发挥着重要作用。
