Plant Health Risks Identification from textual data

This corpus is created as part of the BEYOND project. It contains 23 texts annotated for the Named Entity Recognition (NER) and Named Entity Normalisation (NEN) tasks. The annotated entities types are plants, pests, dates and places. The resources for the normalisation are the EPPO Global Database and the GeoNames geographical database. These texts were annotated using the BRAT annotation tool and, therefore, have the brat annotation format. Each annotation file name has a format file_id.ann. The texts cannot be redistributed due to their license terms and conditions.
