Insight into Genes Regulating Hair Follicle Morphogenesis and Pigmentogenesis of Bay Mongolian Horse from Transcriptional Profiling

This study, using transcriptome sequencing analysis, based on four different parts of the skin tissue samples (mane, body, tail and fetlock) of Mongolian bay horse, selected candidate differentially expressed genes, and then qPCR and immunohistochemistry was conducted. It will lay a foundation for further studies on the morphogenesis and pigmentogenesis of horse hair follicles , and provide a reference for horse breeding.
