FengYun-3F/HIRAS-II FYLeoAIR NH3 retrievals in 2025

This dataset contains tropospheric ammonia retrieval data observed by the Hyperspectral Infrared Atmospheric Sounder-II on board China’s FengYun-3F satellite (FY-3F), launched in 2023. The dataset includes NH3 column estimates, the uncertainty, and the column averaging kernel (AVK) information. The dataset features a spatial resolution of 14 km and provides global coverage twice daily, acquired during the morning (~10:10 local solar time) and nighttime (~22:10 local solar time), respectively. Pre-filtering has been applied to ensure high data quality. A Python code example for reading and plotting the data is also available.
