RNA-Seq of Stemphylium lycopersici in CZAPEK Medium and CZAPEK Medium Supplemented with Tomato Leaf Extract

The aim of the project is to study the proteins of Stemphylium lycopersici that may act as effectors or virulence factors during its interaction with tomato. We cultured the fungus in CZAPEK medium and CZAPEK medium amended with leaf extracts (LE) to assess how the extracts influence the pathogen's secretome. After 14 days of incubation at 24 C in the dark, RNA was extracted and sequenced on an Illumina platform.
