Dîwân-i-Maghribî (ديوان مغربى).

The lyrical poems of Mullâ Muḥammad Shîrîn Maghribî of Nâ’in, in the province of Iṣfahân, who was a friend of Kamâl Khujandî, and died at Tabrîz, A.H. 809 (A.D. 1406, 1407); comp. Bodleian Cat., No. 859; Rieu ii. p. 633; W. Pertsch, Berlin Cat., pp. 719, 720, and 856; A. Sprenger, Catal., p. 476; Ouseley, Biogr. Notices, p. 106. His dîwân has been printed in Persia, A.H. 1280.

A preface in prose, on fol. 1b, beginning: الحمد لله الذى انشاء عروض الكون بسىّ الجسم الثقيل و الروح الخفيف الخ.

Ghazals, in alphabetical order, except the first, preceded by a short mathnawî (dedicated to Shâhrukh).

Beginning of the mathnawî, on fol. 2b:

بس ار بينى درين ديوان اشعار

خرابات و خراباتى و خمّار

Beginning of the first (unalphabetical) poem, the first three baits of which are written in Arabic, on fol. 3:نظرت في رقمى نظرت فصار فداك الخ.

Beginning of the first alphabetical poem, on fol. 3b:

خورشيد رخت چو گشت پیدا

ذرّات دو كون شد هويدا

Tarjî’ât and rubâ’îs, on fol. 74a, beginning:

آفتاب وجود كرد اشراق – نور او سربسر گرفت آفاق

At the end of the dîwân, on fol. 92b, there are some prose-lines, beginning:زيرا كه علوم و معارف ايشان ذوقی الخ

Dated the 10th of Shawwâl, A.H. 1151 (A.D. 1739, Jan. 21), by Ghulâm Muḥyî-aldînkhân of Gîlân. Some mathnawî-baits on the fly-leaves.
