Dataset for: Sequential adsorption of an irreversibly adsorbed nonionic surfactant and an anionic surfactant at an oil/aqueous interface

We characterized the sequential adsorption behavior of Aerosol-OT (AOT) on squalane/aqueous interfaces that were precoated with Tween 80. This dataset reports dynamic interfacial tension for Tween 80 solutions and at the squalane/aqueous interface during the sequential adsorption of surfactant from solution. Surface pressure as a function of surface area is reported for Tween 80 coated interfaces and for surfaces precoated with Tween 80 at several AOT concentrations. Surface pressure measurements are also provided for several AOT concentrations in a 0.5 M NaCl solution on squalene interfaces precoated with Tween 80. Dynamic interfacial tension of oil/water systems was measured using a microtensiometer.
