Total RNA-seq from mice of NAc and mPFC

Total RNA-seq approach identified mRNAs and non-coding RNAs in the mouse NAc after Cocaine CPP conditioning and in the mPFC after social defeat stress. Adult male C57Bl6J mice were subjected to cocaine (7.5 mg/kg, i.p.) conditioned place preference conditioning procedure, experienced social defeat stress by aggressive male CD1 mice, or stayed in home cage as no stimulation control. The NAc and mPFC tissue were dissected out at 15 min after emotional experiences. The RNAs were then subjected to total RNA-seqencing processes with BGI Genomics.
