RAN Tests Based on Inhibitory Control

Data for the work: RAN Tests Based on Inhibitory Control: A Study on its Concurrent and Predictive Validity. This research has been conducted by Tomás Martínez, from Valencia University, and Pilar Selles, from Catholic Valencia University. We examined the concurrent and predictive validity of this test, a longitudinal study was conducted in which 82 4-year-old girls and boys participated. At time 1, they completed two RAN tests: one demanding greater inhibitory control and the other traditional (non-alphanumeric). At time 2, two years later, the same group of students was tested on different reading measures.
