Tregs rapidly accumulate in the omentum after tumor implantation and potently suppress anti-tumor immunity. To test whether Treg accumulation in omental tumors was driven by clonal expansion, we sorted CD25+ FoxP3(GFP)+ Tregs from the omenta and spleens of naive or tumor-bearing animals and sequenced the CDR3 region of their TCR beta chains.
