Cytoskeletal alterations in neuronal cells implicate Toxoplasma gondii secretory machinery and host microRNA-containing extracellular vesicles

This study utilizes SH-SY5Y neuronal cells to investigate the impact of Toxoplasma gondii infection on cytoskeletal alterations and changes in the microRNA profile within these cells. The findings offer new insights into the molecular mechanisms through which Toxoplasma gondii infection may disrupt neural networks.
