Three paralogous small proteins required for flagella-dependent motility in Salmonella

Using RNA seq, gene expression profiles were compared between wild-type Salmonella enterica Typhimurium 14028s and its isogenic srfM2 mutant and genes differentially expressed in the srfM2 mutant were identified. Three independent total RNAs of wild-type and srfM2 mutant cells were sequenced on the Illimina HiSeq 4000 in paired-end mode (2x75 bp).
