In this study, the mechanism of H<sub>2</sub> production from ethylene glycol as a model compound for photoreforming over platinized TiO<sub>2</sub> is presented with particular focus on the effect of the TiO<sub>2</sub> polymorph. This dataset contains kinetic reaction data for the photoreforming of ethylene glycol and other intermediate species over Pt/TiO<sub>2</sub> catalysts with different phase compositions. Characterisation data for each catalyst is also included.
