This dataset was recorded using the Clarity BrainTech 24-channel EEG machine at MNNIT Allahabad. The participants were college students aged between 20 and 29 years. Electroencephalogram EEG recordings were conducted in a controlled environment with a sampling frequency of 500 Hz. The electrode placement followed the International 10/20 system, ensuring comprehensive coverage of cortical activity. The EEG recording session was structured into three phases: the first 5 minutes were recorded with eyes closed (EC). This was followed by a 4-minute eyes-open (EO) phase, Finally, another 4-minute eyes-closed (EC) phase was conducted to assess consistency in resting-state activity and observe any changes over time, where participants were encouraged to relax without falling asleep.
