Predictors of Treatment Response to Acute and Preventive Medications in Migraine: Insights from the OVERCOME Study

Migraine is a common and serious condition that cause intense headaches, often accompanied by nausea, sensitivity to light and sound, and other debilitating symptoms. Migraine affect over one billion people worldwide, significantly impacting their quality of life and daily activities.

Currently, finding the right migraine treatment is often a frustrating process of trial and error. Some treatments focus on providing immediate relief during a migraine attack, while others aim to prevent future migraines. However, not all treatments work the same for everyone, leaving many patients struggling to manage their symptoms effectively.

By analyzing data from a large study called the Observational Survey of the Epidemiology, Treatment, and Care of Migraine (OVERCOME), we will identify factors that influence how well people respond to different treatments.
