Transcriptome of Alternaria dauci strain FRA001

Alternaria dauci is a Dothideomycete fungus, causal agent of carrot leaf blight. Alternaria leaf blight is the most important aerial disease on carrot world-wide. A. dauci is supposed to synthetize host specific and non-host specific toxins playing a crucial role in pathogenicity. The aim of this study was to provide an appraisal of PKS- and NRPS-encoding gene diversity in A. dauci and to investigate biosynthesis pathway of aldaulactone , thanks to a transcriptome data set.
