We propose an 80 ks (4 x 20 ks) observation of the Sgr A complex to address twodifferent topics. First to continue monitoring the Fe K-alpha emissionvariability in the Galactic center due to the interaction of molecular cloudswith a 200-years-old energetic flare from Sgr A*. This study will allow us tobroaden the description of the distribution of the molecular clouds in the innertens of parsecs of the Milky Way. Second to investigate the current flaringactivity of Sgr A* with simultaneous observations with GRAVITY. In this case weencourage the observations to be taken simultaneously with GRAVITY observationsof Sgr A*. This will allow us to combine the information about the particleacceleration coming from XMM-Newton with information about the dynamics from GRAVITY. [truncated! Please see actual data for full text]
