Budget of the City of Oldenburg 2022

<p>The budget for the city of Oldenburg is presented separately by result and financial budget. A distinction is made between income and expenses in the earnings budget and deposits and disbursements in the financial budget.</p> <p>The city of Oldenburg has switched its accounting system to the new municipal accounting system as of 01.01.2010. If income and expenses were previously shown, income, expenses, deposits and withdrawals are now shown. Under the new law, depreciation and provisions are also included in the budget for the first time. This means that the figures from the 2010 budget onwards can only be compared to a limited extent with the figures from previous years (old budgetary law).</p>
