The whole genome sequences of indica rice cultivar Mudgo carring the brown planthopper resistance gene BPH1, Norin-PL3 which was bred by introgressing BPH1 derived from Mudgo into japonica rice cultivar, the india rice cultivar IR1154-243 carrying the brown planthopper resistance gene BPH2, and Norin-PL4 which was bred by introgressing BPH2 derived from IR1154-243 into japonica rice cultivar, were analyzed using NGS technology. Mapping of the NGS reads to the Nipponbare referenced genome is performed. This information is useful for research and breeding of brown planthopper resistant rice.
