B cell receptor repertoire sequencing for subjects receiving H5N1 influenza virus vaccination

B cell receptor gene transcripts for the immunoglobulin heavy chain (IGH) were sequenced from longitudinally from flow cytometry sorted B cell subsets from individuals receiving vaccination against H5N1 influenza virus. Sampled timepoints included before vaccination and at several timepoints up to 600 days post-vaccination. Transcripts were amplified from the IGH constant region, paired with IGHV framework 1 primers, to capture VDJ rearrangements and the isotype subclass information. Primer sequences included sample barcodes to permit multiplexing. Amplicons were sequenced on an Illumina MiSeq with 2x300 paired-end reads.
