AKR-2B cells were grown in an anchorage independent system to assess transcriptional profile of the TGFÃ-dependent fibroproliferative response. Overall design: AKR-2B cells were grown in soft agar -/+TGFÃ, and colonies isolated and total RNA purified at 2, 4, and 8 days, then sent for NGS of mRNA and mRNA, and analyzed for the differentially increased genes associated with TGFÃ stimulation.
