Data set: Paleomagnetism of the La Mora Formation: Late Triassic-Late Jurassic Paleolatitudinal record for Southern Mexico and its Gondwanan disconnection

This data set includes three data groups related to the work: "Paleomagnetism of the La Mora Formation: Late Triassic-Late Jurassic Paleolatitudinal record for Southern Mexico and its Gondwanan disconnection" (Accepted paper in International Geology Review; DOI: 10.1080/00206814.2022.2121945). The three data groups deal with: (1) a Matlab session file of the work on hysteresis cycles (Data S1), (2) a Microsoft excel file with the data of the Isothermal Remanent Magnetization (Data S2), and (3) a compressed *.rar archive containing *.col files of paleomagnetic directions that can be opened and worked within the online software: paleomagnetism.org (Data S3).
Each of these data sets is commonly used in paleomagnetic and rock magnetism studies. In this case, they are data that support the hypothesis of tectonic northward translation of the Mixteca terrane, southern Mexico, during the Pangea breakup for the Late Triassic-Late Jurassic.
Therefore, this repository data set, together with the geological evidence described in the article to which they belong, must be considered for their use and interpretation.
