QASMBench is a low-level quantum benchmark suite based on the OpenQASM assembly representation, designed to evaluate and simulate NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices. Developed by researchers at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, this dataset encompasses quantum algorithms and routines from diverse domains including chemistry, simulation, linear algebra, and more. By providing a set of benchmark tests, QASMBench enables researchers to assess the performance and efficiency of quantum computers, particularly their capability to handle noise and errors. Additionally, the dataset includes four circuit evaluation metrics to facilitate in-depth investigations into execution efficiency, sensitivity to NISQ errors, and potential gains achievable via targeted machine optimizations.
