This is the replication package for the paper titled: "Designing Cyber-Physical Systems by Privacy-based Coordination Patterns", which is currently under revision for the International Conference on Software Engineering and Formal Methods, 2026. The package contains the following files and folders: README.md: Instructions to reproduce the privacy-aware experimental study. Please refer to this file to run the experiments and regenerate the outputs; run_privacy_scenario.py: Main script to execute the full privacy-aware experimental campaign from the command line; run_privacy_scenario.sh: Wrapper to launch the experimental campaign of the paper; requirements.txt: Python dependencies required to run the replication package; sim/: Simulator modules required by the replication package; configs/: Automatically generated configuration files for the experimental runs; raw_logs/: Raw simulation logs generated for each experimental condition and repetition; results/privacy_scenario_raw_runs.csv: Results for the full experimental campaign; results/privacy_scenario_summary.csv: Aggregated results averaged by workload, privacy level, and coordination mechanism; results/privacy_scenario_winners.csv: Summary of the best-performing coordination mechanism for each condition and metric; plots/: Folder containing the generated plots in both .png and .pdf format; Papers-privacy-software-architectures-ACM-IEEE.xlsx: List of the papers harvested for the literature review.
