合理载畜量又称理论载畜量,指一定的草地面积,在某一利用时间段内,在适度放牧(或割草)利用并维持草地可持续生产的前提下,满足家畜正常生长、繁殖、生产的需要,所能承载的最多家畜数量。青藏高原合理载畜量数据利用基于MODIS反演的可食牧草产草量(鲜重,kg/hm2)数据,按照《草地载畜量及草畜平衡计算规范》(DB 51/T1480—2012)、《天然草地合理载畜量的计算》(NY/T 635—2015)评估得到草地的合理载畜量(羊单位,MU/km2)数据,时间序列为2000-2019年,空间分辨率为250米。本数据集可以分析青藏高原草地合理利用情况下理论承载量的时空变化特征,评估青藏高原草地承载特征,提取过渡放牧区域,对青藏高原生态保护、监测及预警具有重要应用价值。
The appropriate carrying capacity, also termed the theoretical carrying capacity, refers to the maximum number of livestock that can be sustained within a defined grassland area over a specified utilization period, under the conditions of moderate grazing (or mowing) management, maintenance of sustainable grassland productivity, and fulfillment of the normal growth, reproduction, and production requirements of livestock. The dataset of appropriate carrying capacity on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau was developed using MODIS-retrieved edible forage yield data (fresh weight, kg/hm²), and the grassland appropriate carrying capacity (sheep unit, MU/km²) was estimated in compliance with "Specifications for Calculation of Grassland Carrying Capacity and Grassland-Livestock Balance" (DB 51/T1480—2012) and "Calculation of Appropriate Carrying Capacity for Natural Grasslands" (NY/T 635—2015). The dataset has a time series spanning from 2000 to 2019, with a spatial resolution of 250 meters. This dataset supports analysis of the spatiotemporal variation characteristics of the theoretical carrying capacity under rational grassland utilization on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, enables evaluation of the plateau's grassland carrying characteristics, facilitates identification of overgrazed areas, and holds critical application value for ecological protection, monitoring, and early warning efforts on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
