This dataset provides the spatial distribution data of land use types in Huangdao District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province in 2016. The data is in vector format, with attribute fields including land code and land type. The land types are classified into secondary categories as follows: paddy field, dry land, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glaciers and snowfields, tidal flats, beach land, urban land, rural settlements, other construction land, sand land, gobi, saline-alkali land, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and other lands. Notably, cultivated land is further categorized into paddy fields and dry lands in mountains, hills, plains, and slopes with a gradient greater than 25° based on landform conditions. The scale of this dataset is 1:100,000.
