Forward and backward kcat dataset paired by enzyme and KEGG reaction (BRENDA/SABIO-RK)

Dataset of enzyme turnover numbers (kcat) for forward and backward directions of biochemical reactions, paired at the level of individual enzymes (UniProt) and KEGG reaction IDs. Data was compiled from BRENDA and SABIO-RK databases, filtered to wildtype enzymes only, and restricted to reactions for which both forward and backward kcat values are available. The geometric mean kcat (s⁻¹) is reported per enzyme-reaction entry. Includes UniProt ID, KEGG reaction ID, organism, EC number, SMILES reaction string, and log_kcat (geometric mean, s⁻¹).
