3 biological replicates of lab-reared Nematostella vectensis eggs were used to generate total RNA. Total RNA was split into 2 samples and subjected to either ribodepletion using custom reagents (AnyDeplete, Tecan) or to poly-A enrichment. NEB Directional RNASeq libraries were prepared by University of Florida's ICBR Gene Expression Core Facility and sequenced on Illumina Novaseq.
