资源简介:
The project aims to sequence bacteriophage isolated against multi-drug resistant human pathogens (taken from the hospital). Sequenced phages are natural and are not genetically modified at any level. The primary aim of the research is to explore the possibility of phage-therapy (application of phage against bacterial infections) in the wake of AMR.Additionally, the project also aims to determine the presence /absence of any virulent genes withing the phage genome and finally explore the genetic makeup of bacterial virus to search for genes that can make phage more virulent to bacteria but less to human and other living entities.
