Location of delivery areas reserved for stopping delivery vehicles Any delivery using a vehicle can only be made in execution of a prior order. In the event of a check, the driver of the vehicle must prove the existence of this control. Transhipments and handling of goods may not be carried out on public roads in the absence of courts, passageways or coveted doors. The goods are transferred directly from the delivery vehicles inside the buildings or vice versa. They must not be stored on public roads. Couriers are only required to carry out transhipments of goods to the exclusion of all handling within receiving establishments, unless such handling requires specialised personnel. Control, type-approval and unloading operations must be carried out as soon as possible in order to limit the vehicle’s immobilisation on public roads. In the area bounded by President Kennedy Avenue, Boulevard de l’Europe, Rue de Metz, Rue de la Somme, Rue de la Sinne, Rue Jacques Preiss and Rue Camille Flammarion, deliveries must be made by vehicles with a P.T.A.C. (including trailer) of less than 13 tonnes. The stoppage of delivery vehicles is permitted: in special public transport corridors before 7.30 a.m. from 8.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and after 7 p.m. in the so-called “pedestrian” lanes between 6 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. in public streets and squares within the perimeter of: the Avenue of President Kennedy (included in the perimeter), Boulevard de l’Europe, the streets of Metz, the Somme, the Sinne, Avenue Auguste Wicky, the streets Alfred Engel, the Fleurs, the Raisin, the Bonbonnière and Lorraine, between 6 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. D) Delivery areas are reserved for stopping vehicles for delivery from 6 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. Outside this time frame, parking of vehicles is allowed.
