A photograph of Jackman's grocery store, 28th and Main streets, Los Angeles, California, USA, 1912. The image shows the proprietor at left in a vest and tie standing next to the register. A man stands at the right between glass cases filled with merchandise and wears a sweater and tie. A third man in a hat and suit is near the owner on the opposite side of the counter. In addition to the cases, there are tables with vegetables in bins and shelving along the walls with canned goods, bottles, and boxes of product. Display boards for various products are displayed throughout the store, as well. The store name, location and date are written in ink at the lower left. With some heavy creasing and a small part of the lower right corner missing, the overall condition is fair.
