The Paleogene deposits of the Fergana Basin, one of the largest oil and gas-bearing regions in Central Asia, are analyzed in detail. The study examines the stratigraphic subdivision, lithofacies characteristics, and sedimentation cycles of the Paleocene, Eocene, and Oligocene series. Furthermore, the influence of tectonic processes in the region on the structure of the Paleogene deposits is scientifically substantiated, along with the productivity potential of these layers.
