New species Pseudomonas oleovorans group

Pseudomonas species are isolated from various natural environments and cause diseases in both animals and plants. Some of them caused infection to human, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pseudomonas putida, Pseudomonas asiatica and Pseudomonas mendocina. Moreover, Pseudomonas species isolated as multidrug resistant from patients, the close observation of their resistance is important to control resistant bacteria in hospitals. During the surveillance study of antimicrobial resistance of Pseudomonas in Myanmar, three strains, MY50T, MY63 and MY101, were isolated from a hospital in Yangon. Although they had been tentatively identified as P. putida based on their biochemical properties by VITEK2 (bioMeriux), they were reanalyzed and futher characterized in this study.
