100DOH (The 100 Days Of Hands)

The 100 Days of Hands (100DOH) is a large-scale video dataset encompassing hands and hand-object interactions. It comprises 27.3 thousand YouTube videos across 11 categories (see detailed information in the table below), containing nearly 131 days of daily interaction footage. The dataset focuses on hand contact, and includes both first-person and third-person perspectives. The videos in 100DOH are unrestricted and diverse in content, ranging from daily life recordings to specialized instructional videos. To enhance diversity, we retained no more than 20 videos per uploader. All video links are provided.

We implicitly searched for hands involved in interactions, rather than conducting explicit searches. We targeted general tags (e.g., DIY cookie making at home 2014, kitchen cabinet assembly 2018) instead of specific manipulation actions.
