The dataset is related to the clinical study. Data on Pseudomonas-positive and Pseudomonas-negative clinical samples were obtained from the diagnostic routine at IRCCS-AOUBO. Data obtained from an in house quantitative real-time PCR (reference test) were added and compared with results obtained by employing the newly developed platform based on oligo-DNA probes. The data were generated in the framework of the Horizon Europe project ECLIPSE.
