The paper reports a comparative evaluation on the protective efficiency of two polymer coatings for ceramic artefacts (Neolithic Cucuteni pottery) under UV ageing. This dataset contains the raw data for the contact angle measurements, atomic force (AFM), scanning electron (SEM) and near-field scanning optical (SNOM) microscopies, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopies.
