These records are the minutes/papers of the board meetings of the Victorian Psychological Council (VA 1351) and its successor agencies the Psychologists Registration Board of Victoria I (VA 4875) and the Psychologists Registration Board of Victoria (VA 4876). The Victorian Psychological Council was appointed under the Psychological Practices Act 1965. The Psychologists Registration Board of Victoria was first appointed under the Psychologists Registration Act 1987. There is an overlap of approximately seven years during which both boards ran concurrently. This was due to the 1987 Act not being fully passed until 1995. Content of these records includes the minutes and associated papers, including reports from the agency's committees and financial reports.
