Transcriptional profiling of systemic MMP14-KO and littermate WT mesenchymal cells in E16.5 livers. CD45-Ter119-p75NTR (NFGR)-positive liver mesenchymal cells were purified using fluorescence-activated cell sorter (FACS). Liver samples were collected from E16.5 MMP14-WT and -KO mice with a C57B/6J background and dissociated by collagenase treatment. CD45-Ter119-p75NTR (nerve growth factor receptor, NGFR)+ liver mesenchymal cells were purified by FACS. Total RNA samples were extracted from the sorted cells derived from 21 MMP14-WT fetuses or 18 MMP14-KO fetuses, obtained from several independent experiments.
