Supervisory Arrangements, Employment and Economy in Families, 1998

The survey on Supervisory Arrangements, Employment and Economy in Families 1998 was carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Children and Equality. The background for the survey was a decision by the Norwegian Parliament in 1997 to introduce a cash benefit arrangement. The goal was to map out families situation regarding nursing, employment and economy before the cash benefit arrangement was introduced, so that the arrangement could be evaluated from the beginning. The survey was planned to be repeated the following year with the same sample so that the consequences of the arrangement could be evaluated in the best possible manner.
