Portuguese Parliament Plenary Speeches (1976–2026)

This dataset contains intervention-level transcripts of plenary sessions of the Portuguese Parliament (Assembleia da República) from 1976 through January 2026. Each row corresponds to a single speaker turn extracted from manually collected session transcripts and parsed into structured variables including speaker, party, date, and full intervention text. The corpus contains 1,247,839 interventions and is suitable for longitudinal research on parliamentary discourse, political communication, party dynamics, and democratic representation.
