Genome-wide analysis of fitness-genes in aminoglycoside-resistant Escherichia coli during antibiotic treatment

In this project, a high-throughput screening was performed on three saturated Tn5 mutant libraries constructed in aminoglycoside resistant E. coli MG1655 utilizing a transposon-directed insertion site sequencing (TraDIS) approach. The aim of this study was to identify conditionally essential genes in aminoglycoside resistant E. coli during exposure with streptomycin, gentamicin and neomycin.
