To investigate the repair mechanism of urethral wound after prostatectomy, we used microarray RNA sequences and bioinformatics methods to analyze the entire transcriptome of post-urethral resection trauma tissue in the rat prostate. Overall design: Two-group experiment (Sham = only abdominal median incision was performed (control) vs TULP = simulating transurethral laser prostatectomy.
