GVA of tobacco manufacturing Philippines 2008-2023

In 2023, the gross value added generated from tobacco manufacturing in the Philippines amounted to around 14 billion Philippine pesos, reflecting a decrease from the previous year. The Philippines locally grows three types of tobacco leaves, namely, virginia leaf, burley leaf, and native or dark leaf.
