Effect of Bacillus infantis Administration on the Gut Microbiota Composition of Rattus norvegicus

This study explores the influence of probiotic supplementation on the gut microbiome of Rattus norvegicus. Experimental groups received Bacillus infantis, and fecal samples were collected for microbial community profiling. The bacterial 16S rRNA gene (V3-V4 region) was analyzed using high-throughput amplicon sequencing to assess shifts in microbial composition and diversity. The resulting dataset offers valuable insights into probiotic-induced modulation of gut microbiota in a mammalian model.
