This dataset contains hyperspectral data of drill core samples scanned for the establishment of a mineral exploration database, which requires precise background masking. Additionally, the dataset includes numerical evaluations for comparing segmentation performance against manually annotated ground truths. Regarding the dataset scale, it encompasses 280,584 masked vectors and 727,000 unmasked vectors. The core task of this dataset is mineralogical analysis of drill cores.
